Current Job Openings

The Apache Nugget Corporation which operates the Apache Nugget Travel Center and Casino is currently accepting applications. Preference is given to qualified Jicarilla Apache Nation Members. While performing the duties of these positions, the employee will be required to stand, sit, reach, stoop, kneel and crouch for long periods of times.  The Casino Manager position has exposure to second hand smoke.  These positions may be required to lift and carry up to fifty pounds. Must be able to work flexible hours and be on call to ensure the efficient operation of the casino or travel center.

Front Line Staff

Apache Nugget Travel Center and Casino - near Cuba, NM

Cage Manager

Apache Nugget Travel Center and Casino - near Cuba, NM

Full-Time-

The Cage Manager directs and supervises all facets of the casino cage.  Some responsibilities of this position include: maintaining a continuous training program in all areas; responsible for casino cash and cash equivalents; orderly and accurate control of casino documents; and, directing employees to insure compliance with internal control procedures. The Cage Manager is also responsible for recommending new hires and terminations to the General Manager also  responsible for  disciplining, directing training, scheduling of employees, and overseeing all employees of the  Cage Department. The Cage Manager reports directly to the General Manager.

  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Applicant must be 21 years of age or older
  • Must be able acquire and maintain a Jicarilla Apache Gaming Regulatory Gaming License
  • A minimum two years experience in the gaming industry is required as well as
  • Supervisory and management skills.

Vault Manager

Apache Nugget Travel Center and Casino - near Cuba, NM

Full-Time-

The Vault Manager directs all aspects of cash receipts and control for the Casino under the direction of the Assistant/General Manager and in accordance with Internal Controls policies and procedures.  The Vault Manager and or Vault Clerk is responsible for daily bank deposits.  The Vault Manager is responsible for recommending new hires and terminations to the Assistant Manager/General Manager.  The Vault Manager reports directly to the Assistant Manager/General Manager.

  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Applicant must be 21 years of age or older
  • Must be able acquire and maintain a Jicarilla Apache Gaming Regulatory Gaming License
